Water purification
Melukat
A Hindu purification ritual at sacred springs — a living religious practice. Go with respect, proper dress and a local guide.
No psychedelics · no medical care — just jamu, breath, sound and stillness Why we say it plainly
Substance-free, fully legal
Breathwork, meditation, sound, cacao, jamu, ayurveda and melukat — all fully legal and led by experienced practitioners. For most visitors, the safer and smarter choice.
No psilocybin · no ayahuasca · no exceptions

Why go legal
Psilocybin and ayahuasca (DMT) are Category I narcotics in Indonesia, and “it was a ceremony” is no defence. Choosing the legal path isn’t settling for less.
Legal options
What each one offers — and, just as plainly, what it doesn’t.

Donation-based Vipassana centres may charge nothing. Our shortlist is free; some bookings pay us a standard referral commission from the operator, which never increases your price.
How to book
We don’t run retreats ourselves — we’re a referral concierge matching you with vetted, legal operators.
WhatsApp your dates, group size and what you are looking for.
Two to four suitable retreats or practitioners, with honest notes on each.
Book directly or through us, as the operator prefers. We stay your contact before and during your stay.
Retreat programs
Packages and in-depth guides to the most-booked modalities.
Questions
Yes. Breathwork, meditation, sound healing, cacao, jamu, ayurveda and melukat involve no controlled substances — the legal line is substances, not practices.
No retreat can promise that — walk away from any that does. These practices complement professional care, never replace it; if you are struggling, see a licensed clinician first.
Decline and leave: you are exposed to Indonesian narcotics law whatever the operator promised, and travel insurance won’t cover it. If it ever happens with an operator we referred, tell us.
Drop-in sessions rarely need more than a few days. Multi-day retreats and silent meditation courses often fill 4–8 weeks ahead, earlier in July–August and December–January.
